Dear parents and students,

Hope you enjoy the beautiful spring season. Due to the pandemics, we have not been able to have in-person lessons for one year. Thanks to the technology, we can still continue the lessons over internet and we even had our Christmas concert through Youtube Live. I am so happy to see students' progress in this challenge time, and the most important thing is that everyone stays healthy.

Time flies, our spring semester will end by May 31, 2021. We will have two weeks Semester Break after that and will start the summer sessions on June 14. As the COVID-19 vaccination has been available for most adults in the area and many have been vaccinated, I am planning to gradually start the in-person lessons for private lessons in June. The group lessons will not be in-person yet. So here is my plan:

  • If you (adult students or parents) are fully vaccinated, then you or your students can choose to take in-person lessons
  • If students would like to continue the remote learning, then we will keep the lessons in the same way through internet.
  • I will not schedule back-to-back in-person lessons (except for the siblings), so I will be able to clean the classroom and the piano thoroughly after each class.

For in-person classes,
  • Masks covering will be required for anyone (parents, students, and me) in the classroom.
  • Hand wash is required for everyone (parents, students, and me) before lessons.
  • I will clean the piano keys after each lesson.
  • I will keep some distance to students.
  • If any family member come back from traveling which requires self-quarantine, we will have online lessons for two weeks before back to in-person lessons.

Please let me know preference of way to take lessons (in-person or online) and your preferred lesson schedule: For example: online: MWF 3~5pm, or in-person Th F 9am~4pm 😊 . I will try my best to schedule accordingly.

Thank you all for your patient and understanding. I am looking forward to playing piano with you all soon.
